Ali Teeman joins APL Media as the new director of content marketing
London, 24 February 2021: Ali Teeman joins APL Media as the new director of content marketing with responsibility for growing and developing the company’s specialist lifestyle content creation.
Coming from leading travel media company Lonely Planet, she worked as managing director of the digital sales team, looking after clients within Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa.
Prior to joining Lonely Planet, Ali ran her own consultancy, worked as marketing and new business director at digital agency i-level and spent 13 years at BBC Worldwide, where she led the commercial teams on some of the UK’s best-loved brands including Top Gear, Match of the Day, Doctor Who, Top of the Pops and CBeebies.
Ali said: “I’m thrilled to be joining APL Media at an important time in the company’s growth. I have always admired their creativity and innovation; in particular, their superb work with National Geographic Traveller (UK) and tourism boards, delivering the right message to the right audience in every format. We’ll be looking to replicate this successful formula across other lifestyle sectors and expand APL Media’s content marketing business.

As part of the new role, Ali will develop APL Media’s strategy for growth in content marketing, focusing on developing strategic alliances and delivering content solutions outside of the company’s existing portfolio and across multiple platforms.
