The Travel Media Awards is delighted to announce Pippa Jacks, editorial director of TTG Media, will be presented with the 2023 Special Contribution Award at this year’s ceremony on 23 October at The Savoy.  

Pippa began her journey with a work experience placement at TTG Magazine in 2006 — and never left. She joined the team as features writer, later becoming features editor, then taking the helm as editor of the 70-year-old trade publication between 2013 and 2017. As editorial director, she now steers an award-winning team of 14 editorial staff across TTG Media’s print magazines, digital channels and events.  
  
She, and the wider team, were tireless in championing the travel industry to the consumer media during the pandemic, and TTG has been recognised with a plethora of awards including the Travel Media Awards’ Trade Publication of the Year award — both print and online — in 2020, 2021 and 2022. Her passion for sustainability has helped drive TTG Media’s mission to promote a smarter, better, fairer travel industry — and in 2023, has seen the publisher lead by example by releasing its own climate action plan.
