National Geographic Traveller (UK) wins at Inspire Global Media Awards
APL Media is pleased to announce National Geographic Traveller (UK) and Food by National Geographic Traveller (UK) have each won an award at the 2025 Inspire Global Media Awards (IGMAs), held in London on 31 March and 1 April.
Known for celebrating travel journalism that champions culture, sustainability and immersive storytelling, the IGMAs honoured the following contributions:
Karlina Valeiko, in-house digital content editor, won the Consumer Magazine Feature of the Year (Africa & Indian Ocean) category for ‘Born to be wild’, published in National Geographic Traveller (UK).
Carolyn Boyd, a regular contributor, won the Consumer Magazine Feature of the Year (Europe) category for ‘In France’s highlands, the flowers are tasty and the cheese is stretchy’, published in Food by National Geographic Traveller (UK).
