National Geographic Traveller (UK) writers earn five nominations at the 2025 British Guild of Travel Writers Awards 

Several National Geographic Traveller (UK) contributors have been nominated across five categories at this year’s prestigious BGTW Awards. Each is celebrated for outstanding work in travel journalism, covering stories from Iceland’s Highlands to America’s Indigenous Southwest and Cartagena’s cultural powerhouse. 

The recognitions are:  

The British Guild of Travel Writers is a community of accredited writers, photographers, bloggers and broadcasters, serving as the trusted body for independent editorial comment and expert content on worldwide travel in the United Kingdom. 

Returning with its 65th anniversary celebration, the winners will be announced at the BGTW Annual Gala Awards Dinner on Monday 3 November 2025, at One Marylebone — a neoclassical converted church in central London — rounding off the World Travel Market.
