ABTA Magazine November and supplements

London (11 November): The November 2016 issue of ABTA Magazine is now available online, with the print version sent to all subscribers. As well as offering inspirational destination content, focusing on India and Germany, ABTA Magazine ensures its readers are one step ahead of the game, with cutting-edge analysis and reports — this issue, on the important topics of accessible travel and travel industry qualifications.

This ABTA Magazine is accompanied by two supplements: a guide to China — including insights into the adventure-lover’s paradise of Tibet — and a guide to the diminutive, quirky Chinese region of Macao, home to internationally renowned fusion cuisine.

In the wake of The ABTA Travel Convention in Abu Dhabi — coverage of which is included in this issue, alongside this season’s industry news — editor Jo Fletcher-Cross comments: “If there’s one takeaway, it’s that boldness pays. Abu Dhabi is a place of audacious constructions, of dreams in the desert. This is the place that decided that when it was going to build a cultural quarter, it would install an outpost of the Louvre and the Guggenheim. No half measures — an approach that resonated throughout the Convention. From robots to silver travellers, from demanding clarity on Brexit to expansion on the high street, it seems confidence and boldness is what we need going into 2017.”
