The annual National Geographic Traveller Reader Awards is back for its sixth year to celebrate the best places, experiences, hotels, operators, authors, podcasts and more, as shortlisted by judges and voted for by the audience.

In 2021, looking back at a year like no other, the Reader Awards will reward the companies that gained or retained travellers’ trust and the travel TV shows and books that inspired people, as well as the innovative online visitor experiences, standout attractions and unique stays up and down the country.

Voting is now open, and there are 23 fantastic prizes up for grabs, including a week’s stay at a trullo villa in Puglia and a three-night guided walking break in the UK. The winners will be announced in the Jan/Feb 2022 issue, out in early December.
