Case Study:

Council for Higher Education of Israel

Content

The brief

The Council for Higher Education of Israel (CHE) sought to promote the country as a premier academic destination and showcase Israeli research and innovation excellence to prospective international students.

The Council wanted this message to be delivered through a dedicated magazine covering four main themes: accounts from current or past international students; key research topics at Israeli universities; the latest innovations in the country’s academic sphere; and stories from illustrious alumni.

Our approach

The APL Media team created Israeli Academia, a magazine showcasing Israel’s academic system and the destination's available opportunities. It features news and stories from nine of the country’s leading higher education institutions — from the researchers leading the charge against the Covid-19 outbreak to a student-run venture capital fund.

The content from this 36-page publication was reproduced across multiple channels, including a custom-made microsite and an interactive eZine. The Israeli Academia website gives users the option of receiving information and updates from the higher education institutions featured in the magazine, request a free copy of the publication or watch additional videos. A limited number of glossy, hardback magazines were also produced.

Our results

Following the first successful issue, a second edition, centred entirely around the theme of sustainable development, was published as an ezine in 2022.

This campaign idea is available as a solution for interested clients.

Everything looks great. We sent the magazine and website to the featured universities, and we received huge compliments!
