The judges for the 2022 Travel Media Awards have been revealed, with 60 senior travel industry and media professionals taking part, making it one of the most comprehensive judging panels of any travel industry or media event.

The list of judges includes some of the UK’s most prominent and influential travel organisations from across the industry, including both international and regional tourist boards, tour operators, airlines, cruise lines and hotel companies, sitting alongside leading travel editors and writers as well as travel broadcasters and photographers.

As part of the TMA’s ongoing commitment, more than 45% of the judges are new to the awards this year with none of the returning judges assessing the same category as 2021. Judging is undertaken against a proven scoring system, with strict entry criteria for each of the 20 award categories. Thanks to the judges for their continued support in helping us celebrate the very best of the UK’s travel media — we look forward to welcoming all the judges to the awards ceremony on 26 September at The Dorchester.
