A look at three multi-piece National Geographic Traveller (UK) campaigns
From bespoke videos to digital hubs, here are some of the ways we’ve worked with clients over the past couple of months.
Gangwon Province
As part of this project, a crew was sent out to Gangwon, South Korea, to film interviews about the province’s culinary culture and gastronomic offerings. The resulting three-minute video was accompanied by two print pieces, one of which featured in National Geographic Traveller (UK) and the other which featured in Food by National Geographic Traveller — and both of which were also reproduced online.
Visit Pittsburgh
This campaign combined a print double-page spread with three digital articles: a listicle on how to explore the city via its rivers; an interview on its booming beer scene; and a guide to following in the footsteps of Andy Warhol. All the pieces were hyperlinked among each other, ensuring a smooth reading experience for our audience.
Austria National Tourist Office
Featuring a total of six digital pieces on Austria’s Tyrol region, this campaign is displayed on the National Geographic Traveller (UK) website in a dedicated hub. From an Innsbruck weekend guide to a listicle on family-friendly activities in St Johann and a local’s tips for hiking in St Anton am Arlberg, the articles are varied in theme and format, providing a useful overview of the region for travellers interested in an alpine getaway.
