The British Guild of Travel Writers Members’ Excellence Awards (MEA) recognises the work published and produced by its global community of writers, photographers and broadcasters. The nine individual awards and four portfolio awards were judged by more than 30 travel media and industry professionals, both in the UK and from sister travel-writing organisations in the US and Australia.

National Geographic Traveller (UK) contributing writers Pól Ó Conghaile, Emma Gregg, Ben Lerwill, Adrian Phillips, Jonathan Thompson and Karolina Wiercigroch have all been nominated for awards in 2022.
