A look at the latest digital campaigns created by the National Geographic Traveller (UK) team
Whether it’s an exciting destination or unique product, the National Geographic Traveller (UK) team works with clients to create travel-focused promotional campaigns. Here are some of those shared over the past month.
Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO)
This article — part of a bigger campaign on the country’s seaside wonders, which includes both print and digital elements — looks at where to go island-hopping around the Ionian islands of Corfu, Paxi, Kefalonia and Ithaca, off the west coast of mainland Greece.
Azerbaijan Tourism Board
As part of this campaign for the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, the team created a 10-page insert in the September 2021 issue of the magazine. The three articles, which show a range of the attractions the country has to offer, were reproduced on the website. The first piece looks at how to spend a long weekend in Sheki, a waypoint on the Old Silk Road; the second is a guide to Azerbaijani wine; and last but not least is a list of four of the best hiking trails in the country.
For an insider’s glimpse into Barcelona’s popular food and drinks scene, this online-only piece rounds up some of the best bars and cafes to hop between, all serving Estrella Damm beer.
This article, which first appeared in the September 2021 issue of the magazine, looks at five places to see wildlife in the UK and make use of Swarovski Optik’s long-range optical instruments.
