APL Media launches online native content features with The Week, the Evening Standard, The Independent, City AM and The Telegraph

APL Media Limited has launched its digital lifestyle publishing division, with the very first edition of native content published online with The Week, titled 10 ways to improve life at home and in the garden.

As well as The Week, the new digital portfolio includes the Evening Standard, The Independent, City AM and The Telegraph. This will see APL Media create tailor-made native content specific to each publisher and its audience. Produced using a ‘top 10’ format, native content features will cover various lifestyle subjects over the year, from homes and gardens to health, fitness and wellbeing.

Anthony Leyens, APL Media’s CEO, says: “I’m delighted to announce we’ve launched some formidable native content products with a number of national newspapers, further strengthening our digital capability and enabling us to provide our clients with a wide portfolio of multi-media platforms, while reaching an even wider digital audience too.”

The new digital lifestyle publishing arm joins APL Media’s longstanding and highly successful newspaper print division, responsible for regular lifestyle sections for The Guardian, The Mail on Sunday, The Sunday Telegraph and the Evening Standard. Much like the digital content, each of these is aligned to its respective newspaper’s audience and brand guidelines.

Titles include The Modern Family, Healthcare Innovations, The Good Life, Countryside Experience and the newly launched At Home & In The Garden — the latter created in response to the UK lockdown. The print division also works in association with National Geographic Traveller and National Geographic Traveller Food, also published by APL Media, to produce The Travel Guide and Food & Drink supplements.
