
APL Media welcomes new starters and returning staff
APL Media is pleased to announce a returning member of staff and several new appointments within the editorial and sales teams.
Hannah Doherty: Senior sub-editor
Hannah has returned to the sub-editing team after a year’s maternity leave. She first joined APL Media in 2015 and has worked across its full range of print and digital titles, expressing strong opinions on the style guide and dangling modifiers. She’s previously worked at the BBC, Immediate Media and Australian Associated Press. Hannah lives in Glasgow, enjoys running and is a connoisseur of instant coffee.
Jessica Geneen: Paid media executive
Jessica joins the marketing team with experience running ads across Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok in agencies working within the charity and parent/youth marketing sectors. She also brings experience in data analytics and visualisation. Jessica will have ownership of client social media campaigns, ensure smooth delivery of their reports, and is excited to support ongoing work to transform APL Media’s data into a powerful strategic asset.
Jessica Rodriguez: Sales coordinator
With a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills, Jess will support the sales team across a range of projects and ensure that campaigns run smoothly from start to finish. She’ll play a key role in coordinating all sales activity and keeping projects on track. Jess joins APL Media from Ralph Lauren, where she also worked as sales coordinator.
