Bake Off at APL Media: design department hosted its own competition to coincide with The Great British Bake Off 2025
Wednesdays got extra sweet throughout October and November, as APL Media’s design team hosted their own Bake Off in honour of the TV show’s 16th season release.
For the second year in a row, each designer was assigned a baker. The designer would then have to share something home-made when their ‘partner-contestant’ left the competition.
Here’s a rundown of what each designer brought into the office:
- Ben Rowe aka Jessika: school cake
- Becky Redman aka Nadia: tahini billionaire bars
- Aisha Nazar aka Nataliia: goat’s cheese & caramelised onion tartlets
- Lauren Gamp aka Lesley: chocolate meringue cake
- Dean Reynolds aka Iain: mini biscoff cheesecakes
- Lauren Atkinson-Smith aka Toby: mango macarons
- Tully D’Souza aka Aaron: gulab jamun
- Kelly Markwell aka Tom: white chocolate chip and peanut butter chocolate chip cookies
