Living360 team head to Morocco and Italy
The Living360 team explored two emerging wellness destinations: Taghazout Bay, Morocco, and Madonna di Campiglio, Italy, in the past few months as part of research for upcoming features.
Taghazout Bay, Morocco, once a quiet fishing village known mostly to surfers, is set to become a prominent wellness destination. As Morocco prepares to host major football tournaments, nearby Agadir stadium drives development in the area. Lifestyle editor at Living360, Mattie Lacey-Davidson, reflects: “Taghazout Bay may be well known among surfers, but its wellness offerings are now poised to gain broader appeal.”
The Living360 team recently explored Taghazout Bay’s wellness options, engaging in activities like sound baths, yoga, boxing and a traditional Moroccan hammam. Mattie sums up the experience: “In just a few days, I experienced everything from horse-riding on the beach to hiking in Paradise Valley.”
Meanwhile, in the Italian Dolomites, deputy editor Anna Evdokimou visited Madonna di Campiglio, famous for its winter sports. During the summer months, this alpine destination transforms into a haven for nature-lovers. Anna, an avid hiker, enjoyed outdoor yoga and mountain treks, embracing the tranquility of the Dolomites.
These destinations underscore the growing trend of wellness travel, offering visitors the chance to rejuvenate both body and mind, from Morocco’s Atlantic coast to Italy’s alpine peaks.
