National Geographic Traveller content editor Charlotte Wigram-Evans was named AITO Young Travel Writer of the Year at the awards ceremony on 9 November.

Four National Geographic Traveller writers were nominated for the award, and deputy editor Amelia Duggan brought home the prize for third place.

Regular contributor Emma Gregg took second place in the AITO Travel Writer of the Year (Over 1,500 Words) category for one of her National Geographic Traveller pieces.

The winners were announced at a ceremony held at The Barrowboy and Banker pub in London.
