The judging for the Travel Media Awards is now complete. The judging panel, one of the largest for any travel industry event, made up of 60 judges from leading travel businesses and travel media, has whittled down the huge number of entries to compile a shortlist representing the very best of travel journalism, photography and broadcasting. The awards take place on 26 September 2022 at The Dorchester.

For 2022 there are 101 finalists across 20 categories, covering all areas of trade and consumer travel media, including print and online, broadcasting, blogging/vlogging and photography.

Giles Harper, co-founder of the Travel Media Awards said: “Entry levels were once again extremely high this year, with the Travel Media Awards going from strength to strength. Thank you, not only to the finalists, but everyone who took the time and effort to enter. Congratulations to the shortlisted entries and we look forward to revealing the winners on 26 September.”

Anthony Leyens, co-founder of the Travel Media Awards and CEO of APL Media, said: “We’re thoroughly looking forward to seeing who picks up the award for each category, and also to celebrating in the beautiful surroundings of the Dorchester with our finalists and winners in September.”
