At the core of this campaign was a virtual event, organised by the National Geographic Traveller team, all about South Australian wine. Held on 1 June 2021, it saw multi-award-winning wine expert Olly Smith and an expert panel discuss the people, food, drink and landscapes that make the state such an inspirational destination. To maximise audience reach, the campaign also featured three digital articles: a photo story on the best experiences in and around Adelaide; a guide to exploring the state’s wine regions; and a feature on the local vineyards and breweries championing sustainability.
