The National Geographic Traveller (UK) team has been shortlisted in three categories at the LATA Media Awards 2026, with nominations across editorial and photography.

The three shortlisted categories are:

• Best Latin American Travel Feature — Magazine (online or print): Farida Zeynalova, National Geographic Traveller (UK)
• Best Sustainability Focused Feature (with a focus on Conservation, Community a/o Sustainability) — Newspaper, Magazine, Trade, Blog or Vlog: Farida Zeynalova, National Geographic Traveller (UK)
• Best published Latin America Photo Story: Karolina Wiercigroch, freelance photographer
