APL Media and National Geographic Traveller (UK) team receives eight nominations in the PPA Awards 2026! 

APL Media and its National Geographic Traveller (UK) team have received a total of eight nominations at the 2026 PPA Awards. 

This recognition by the Professional Publishers Association (PPA) highlights the strength of APL Media’s journalism and audience engagement. 
 
The eight categories the teams and individuals have been shortlisted in are:

  • Cover of the YearNational Geographic Traveller (UK) 
  • Data Initiative of the Year: Building a unified data infrastructure with Databox, APL Media 
  • Designer of the Year: Becky Redman, National Geographic Traveller (UK) 
  • Editor of the Year (Consumer Media): Pat Riddell, National Geographic Traveller (UK) 
  • Newsletter of the Year: National Geographic Traveller (UK) 
  • Special Interest Brand of the Year: National Geographic Traveller (UK) 
  • Writer/Columnist of the Year: Farida Zeynalova, National Geographic Traveller (UK)
